I'm looking for a next-gen game whose characters are descendants (children or grandchildren) of canon characters. I'm flexible on specific characters. What's out there?

HELLO! I've already posted here once before, so excuse me if this entry seems a touch familiar! My name is Kae, and I play the heinously shrieky Cordelia Burke over at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) topbollocks. "Heinous" is probably the briefest but most apt description one could have of dear Cordie. In a nutshell, she is a former hellion who has reformed due to her parents' announcement to her that they are completely out of funds. And therefore, Cordelia is on the prowl for a husband.
But this post really is less about Cordelia and I, and is rather about how AMAZING topbollocks is. The cast is quite small right now, due in part, I'm sure, to the fact that there is a waiting period for current players to pick up a second. Even still, it is already HOPPING with activity -- and not just any kind of activity, but the most endearingly amusing sort that has already made topbollocks one of the best games I've been a part of. The mods are approachable, friendly and EXTREMELY motivated to keep everything running forward. Their plot points are hilarious, their cast of Professors spot-on, and the game in summation comes as close to what I would imagine life at Hogwarts to be.
I would LOVE more Slytherins -- particularly males, and notably Mr. Parkinson himself. We also have holes to fill in the lower years (fourths and fifths) and Hufflepuff is sorely lacking amidst its ranks. Honestly, though, I would encourage each and every enthusiastic HP RPer to look the game over and simply hold where you feel inclined. You won't regret it!
OH! And on behalf of our FABULOUS Narcissa, I would like to specifically request Lucius Malfoy. He will be fawned over by Cordelia, to be sure, who will be delighted that her best friend has her man about. ;)

Hi, I play Demelza Robins at Euterpe's Corner - set in 2002 and canon-compliant.
She would REALLY like to see her flatmates Terry Boot and Ritchie Coote cast in the game! There's no fun in a game relying on flatmate interaction if there's no one in the flats to hang out with.
As Demelza is loud, add on Ritchie who is another Gryffindor - and your Terry could potentially earn regular headaches. Especially when he discovers Parvati Patil is moving in too. Of course, this is all dependent on your characterisation, but sparking ideas can't hurt, right?

I'm looking for a game to play one of the following characters:
- Bill Weasley
- Marrieta Edgecombe
- Sirius Black
- Remus Lupin
- Any male character with a storyline that doesn't center around shipping
I'd like a game or two with plot and substance rather than just being a social game. I don't want to be asked to join a game, only to put the time into an application and find myself amidst a sea of cliques. I don't want to be asked to join a game that's flatlining. Most of all, I don't want to be asked to join a game with mods who have too much going on to concentrate on the game and make it the best experience they possibly can for everyone.
I don't mind the era, as long as it is a quality game. I would also greatly appreciate it if "fun lulz times" in the OOC community were kept to a minimum. I don't want a game where cat macros are posted on a regular basis or inside jokes are regularly referred to in the OOC community. This relates back to the no-cliques request, I suppose. I'm all for a bit of fun, but I'd rather most of the fun take place in the actual IC community and journals, rather than the OOC community.
I'm an active, experienced player who has been out of the loop for a while. I write well and will participate in game-wide plots, and while I do enjoy shipping, I would like to take part in actual plot as well.

So I'm here on behalf of ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) oh_buggar (via buggarmod), an AU game set in the trio's 6th year that's open for, well, all the characters in the Potter-verse. You can read about the premise of the game HERE while I make my special request.
I play James Potter Jr. and right now, he'd really love to see his too-big family around, especially Harry, Ginny, Albus Severus and Lily Luna. While we're at it, he'd be delighted if his uncle George (and Fred!) were around, too.
Besides that, I'd personally love to see more kids from the Trio's era, the Malfoys and Daphne Greengrass, since I might apply for Astoria soon and I'd love for her to have family around.
OR you can just take a look at the available characters' list and apply for whoever you want. The game is lots of fun, you should check it out :)
