About: Hello! I'm an old face in a new HP rpg world. I was a very active HP player for years on GJ before going on a year hiatus. Now I'm back after the burn out phase and looking for something to excite my creative juices.
Game: Ah, what am I looking for, exactly? I'm fairly open right now. The only thing I -don't- want to play is future Hogwarts. Sorry, just cant get into the idea of playing Harry's kids & co! I'm also not interested in any trio-era games set during his 1st-6th years.
I'm most keen on Marauder era games (I prefer post-warts, but will look at school ones), trio era post-DH (pref 2-5 years after), or, and I know this is a long shot, Lestrange/Weasley-era school games (re: before the marauders arrived).
I won't say no to DH-set canon games. So really - just pitch me anything you think is good and why.
Characters: Not to picky about this. I tend to prefer Slytherin or Hufflepuff males in general (whether alumni or student). My usual suspects;
Trio-era: Theodore Nott, Draco Malfoy, Ernie Macmillan, Zacharias Smith, Anthony Goldstein.
Marauder/First War: Remus Lupin, Rodolphus Lestrange, Andromeda Black (slyth), Ted Tonks (claw), Benjy Fenwick (huffle), Barty Crouch Jr (claw), Dorcas Meadowes (claw) -- but really not picky for Marauder era! The list could go on.
I've got two friends who might also want to come along. One is completely non-picky in most senses, while the other tends to take a fancy to Ravenclaw or Slytherin girls.
Need the Bones brothers for a Marauder game? We might do it!
Other:</b> Just reply here! Tell me why I should consider your game, and what roles you're specifically looking for. Like I said, I'm not really that picky about the character, especially if he/she is needed for something. I enjoy stepping into roles where there are some pre established plot lines.
I may also consider private lines.

Hello! I'm Julia and make all age requirements (sadly!). I've been rping for over three years and love getting deeply involved in games. I'm modding two games and looking for a place to kick back and relax. I know both these characters are long shots so if you happen upon this post in a few weeks, feel free to comment anyway!
Character[s] wanted: Mostly Draco Malfoy. Possibly Remus Lupin in a school setting.
What I want in a game:
For Draco: AU. I'd like either an adult aged game OR while in school. Why AU? Simply put, I don't much like the concept of the other Greengrass sister and I don't wish to be forced into any sort of romantic plot with *anyone* unless there's chemistry.

For Remus: While I enjoy Remus/Tonks and have played it out before, I again don't want to be forced into anything. I'd prefer a school aged game since I already have a Remus who is married with children. An active Harry is a major bonus.

For both: I like mods who realize this is a game and give their players creative license. I RP to write a different story from the ones told already. I like players who are open to newcomers and allowing stories to develop naturally in character. For this reason, I think AU is my best bet at this point, BUT if you have a canon based game with such freedom, I'll definitely take a gander. I also REALLY want a game that is set to last more than a few months.
What I don't want in a game:
-Time travel (I'm already in one, but I'll take a look. Just no promises!)
-Set in any one year (in other words, I don't want to replay a book)
-Players/mods who ridicule (whether they are condemning those in game or out)
-Expectation to be on AIM. I prefer MSN, the OOC, and email for plotting.
-A crazy banned list (yet, I DO want mods who know how to say no to those faces who just won't work --- i.e. wrong hair color, wrong age).
-Long winded replies. My replies vary on the characters and scenes. I've written six paragraphs and I've written two sentences. It all depends and is much more natural to me. I don't want to feel as if I have to write a minimum of 10 sentences every time I reply to someone.
Where do you prefer? IJ/LJ/GJ/SCRIBBLD/OTHER: IJ is my strong preference, but I'm really looking to branch out so I will consider LJ or Scribbld.

Hello there! I'm Sadie, and I'm looking for a place to play an adult Remus Lupin. I would also be open to playing Percy Weasley, Rabastan Lestrange, Bill Weasley, Hestia Jones, Nymphadora Tonks, and in general other adults in the series. I'm not interested in playing students.
About me and the characters I play:
- I'm a 23 year old grad student who majored in creative fiction, emphasis on character development. I take a lot of time creating my characters, and they are quality, canon characters.
- I've been in numerous games over the years, and I'm an active player in games I enjoy.
- I keep my characters as canon as possible, which means chances are, any interpretation I do will be based on canon, rather than fandom opinions. I play Remus straight, I play Percy as Ministry Prat, etc.
What I'm looking for in a game:
- Interesting plot (AU is perfectly fine with me, and is in some sense required).
- Activity!
- Other active adult characters in the game for mine to interact with.
- Friendly mods who don't dictate every bit of plot in the game, yet are there to keep things canon, keep the peace, and provide plot for the game overall.
- Mods who know how to defuse situations and won't just sit around and fret about an issue without communicating to the players involved until it becomes such an incident that removal is required. I like my mods to come with backbones, please.
- No cliques, please. If you're in a game with all of your friends, and it's impossible to break through that circle - or even difficult - then no thank you.
- Mature players with quality writing.
- Characters who are at least reasonably canon-based. I know for AU this can change, but sticking to the basics would be muchly appreciated.

Hello! I'm Lily and I play Lily Potter at the next-gen game Ghosts of the Past. It's canon-compliant, active, well-organized and the mods are amazing. I'd love to see any new characters, but Lily would especially love to have her cousin and best friend, HUGO WEASLEY around. Her and James would also really like to have their brother ALBUS around as well! They lost their mum and aunt last month in an attack on Diagon Alley and everyone is still coping with that.

About: Hello all. my name is Rev. I'm...well..the age limits won't be a problem. I haven't played in the HP world in quite awhile but I've been hankering to get back into it.
Game: I'm actually opened to playing in just about Era. I've mostly done trio era but I'd love to try all of them. I've only played in Marauder's Era once and that game died out pretty quick but it was fun.
I'd love a game with a plot that includes everyone and that the main plot isn't centered around the mod's characters. I'd like a game with an equal amount of good and bad because I hate not having anyone to play with other than to inflect pain or torture.
Drama free games would be prefered.
Characters: I'm opened to playing just about anyone. I'm not too good with Hufflepuffs but I'd be willing to give them a go.
Who I'd love to play again/try: Hestia Jones (Pb: Eve Myles), Ginny Weasley (PB: Kate Nash), Miriam Strout (Marauder's Era: Blake Lively, Trio Era: Janel Maloney), Bill Weasley, Mandy Brocklehurst (Pb: Megan Fox), Alice Longbottom (Pb: Carey Mulligan). Like I said, I'll give just about anyone a shot.

Looking for players!
Hi, I'm Bronte and I play Morag Macdougal, Fred Weasley and Parvati Patil over at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) magic_days. Magic_days is a roleplay set in the time of Order of the Phoenix, Harry's 5th year. (1995-1996. We play three months ahead. So in magic_days-verse it's currently June so most characters have just done their exams and are now home for the holidays.
Characters wanted/why: OK, well Morag would love some more Ravenclaws. It's pretty much just her and Sylvie in her year at the moment so she'd love some more of her friends to get a journal.
Parvati really wants Lavender, Dean, Seamus and Padma. She needs her best friends! Especially now it's holiday time. Who else is going to go shopping with her?!
Fred wants a George. It's really much more fun being a twin if your twin is around plus Fred would like to spend more time with George before Fred dies. =( . An Angelina would be awesome. We used to have one but we lost her while moving from GJ to IJ so there's a bit of a backstory for her but it's nothing complicated. Lee Jordan would also be great. We already have an Alicia and a Katie so those 3 would just complete the group nicely. Any other Weasley's would be quite nice too.
