Hello, RPers! I'm Zee, and I'm here to recommend Toffs, a canon-based nextgen game. We've been open since March 1st, and currently have a cast of around 32 characters, making us a medium-sized game. This means that all of the characters have a chance to interact with everyone else, and everyone is very willing to plot and backstory. It's a lot of fun so far - we're very active and there's loads of plot! For example, the Quidditch World Cup was just held (Argentina beat Ireland) which was exciting, and right now is a perfect time to jump in as it's currently August in-game, meaning the students will be returning to school in just over a week. I play three characters (Karin Thomas, Louis Weasley and Coriander Bulstrode) but I'm here with general pleas for the game in general.
Firstly, the new Head Boy and Head Girl have just been appointed, and neither are in play! So will Christopher Yaxley (Slytherin) and Brita Barbary (Ravenclaw) please come and pick up their badges? Yaxley is wanted in particular, and we'd love to see him apped as a rather meaner personality. Our Edward Finch-Fletchley player (who would be a roommate) has some plot in mind, and you wouldn't be short of people to interact with!
The Quidditch teams have also been filled up, and Violetta Goodrich (Ravenclaw seventh year) is the only Captain not in play! My Louis and the rest of the team would love to see their Captain around. There are a couple of other Quidditch players who aren't being played, and we'd love to see them filled.
The game as a whole would benefit from more boys, as the girls are currently outnumbering them, and quieter girls - especially in Gryffindor! Speaking of which, can we get some more Gryffindor Sixth Years? Albus Potter and Amity Smith are all alone in the dorms at the moment! However, we are currently looking to fill up any of the available characters. There is plenty to choose from in both years and all four houses. There are canon names and non-canon names, and as we are a fairly new game, there is no backstory attached to any of the characters except where prefect status and blood status has been assigned.
So, check out Toffs! I am totally serious about how much fun it is. Everyone's really committed to the game and there's usually a chat on AIM which is great for plotting and making it a really great place to be OOC. We're all really friendly and we'd love to meet some new players and see some new characters! The character list is here, hope to see you soon!

About me and the character I play: Hello! I'm Julia and yes I've been here before. ;P I've been RPing for over three years and love creating "big plot" to carry out over several months. I have modded several games, all which have lasted six months-two years, and I'm set to open an AU seventh year game in early April. As such, we're still looking for a few key characters.
Character wanted to fill a SL & why: Specifically, this post is asking for the following:
RON WEASLEY: The roles of Harry and Hermione are filled by two active and talented players so if you're a Ron sick of losing your fellow trio members, look no further! We also have a few more housemates for Ron to interact with including Lavender and Seamus. I play Ernie MacMillan and I know he's excited to find his sorta friend as well!
MALE STUDENTS: While we have a few males already cast, we'd adore some more balance. Some roles we'd love to see filled are: Colin Creevey, Dean Thomas, Blaise Zabini (a replacement prefect!), Wayne Hopkins, and Michael Corner.
RECENT ALUMNI: Alicia, Angelina, and Oliver are waiting for their friends and enemies!
ADULTS: My Tonks would adore some mates and my MacMillan Sr. could also use some company.
Game to join: Even if the above roles don't float your boat, I really recommend any player interested in detail and canon characteristics while remaining flexible to in game chemistry and plots to check out this game.
