Hello! My name is Hannah, and I play Luna Lovegood (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ndr_luna) at the newly started and very wonderful ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) newdarkrising. New Dark Rising is a post-Deathly Hallows game which is not epilogue compliant and takes place in 2005, nearly seven years after the Battle of Hogwarts. It's sort of AU, I suppose, since it involves some new darkness coming into play. The game just started today and already a bunch of Death Eaters have escaped from Azkaban. I'm sure it's all going to be very exciting!
Luna (and the game) are especially looking for some Ravenclaws! Currently the only ones we have are Luna herself and Lilith Moon. Luna would especially love a Cho Chang, Padma Patil, Terry Boot, Michael Corner and Anthony Goldstein. The moderators are also looking for a Marietta Edgecombe and a Roger Davies. All the other houses have at least 5 members, but Ravenclaw only has two right now.
Oh, and the game is also looking to complete our Trio with the addition of a Ron Weasley. So if you'd like to play a red-haired and freckled Chudley Cannons enthusiast, please come apply.

Hiya! I'm Ronnie and I play five at fallacy_rpg via fallacymods. Fallacy is an AU seventh year game, where Voldemort is "defeated" during the summer between sixth and seventh years. "Defeated", you ask? It's because the seventh horcrux is not what we all assumed it was and therefore, Voldemort has just disappeared for awhile. He's about to make a comeback, though everyone in the wizarding world assumes that he is gone.
First and foremost, Ron Weasley would love to have NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM and DEAN THOMAS, along with PARVATI PATIL and his ex-girlfriend, LAVENDER BROWN. He needs Neville and Dean so that the boy quota of the Gryffindor seventh years is filled and it's just no fun talking to Hermione without Lavender butting in and trying to steal the show. Ron would also love to see a ROMILDA VANE because who doesn't love getting chocolates with love potion?
Jacob Summerby, a seventh year Hufflepuff, along with Justin, Wayne and Ernie, would love to see a ZACHARAIS SMITH because they need more people to argue with. Jake would also like to see a HANNAH ABBOTT present!
Stephen Cornfoot and Anthony Goldstein would love to see SU LI as well as PADMA PATIL so that there are five boys and five girls for the seventh years of Ravenclaw.
And finally, Blake Harper, seventh year Slytherin, would like more Slytherins to mingle with and not hate. He's a Pure-blood elitist and dislikes most people from other houses!

ABOUT ME AND THE CHARACTER I PLAY: Hello! I'm Chels, and I play Regulus Black at blurred_lines. It's a Postwarts game set in 1979, but it's got a twist in that Voldemort goes after Alice and Frank, and there IS no Boy-Who-Lived. Voldemort will rise to power even more so as the Ministry and Order continue their fighting. Regulus himself has dropped out of his final year at Hogwarts to become a full-time Death Eater, and by the end of the year, he will still be going after the Horcrux and...dying. :(
CHARACTER WANTED TO FILL AN SL & WHY: We have some specifics and some general characters we'd like!
The Lestrange clan would like to round itself off with the ONLY available Lestrange not in play: Corbina Lestrange. She is the younger sister of Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange, and she is eighteen years old, just recently out of school. We have other purist folk and Death Eaters for her to play with, as well has her family (okay, well, sans their parents) for good family plottage!
The Black clan would LOVE a Walburga, Orion, and Cygnus Black!!! We have a Druella for them in the adults realm (as well as a few supporters/DEs in that age range) as well as ALL of the other Blacks: Sirius, Regulus, Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa are all in play. Personally, I would SO MUCH LOVE to have Reg's parents and uncle around since he neeeeeeds his family.
More in general, we need older Death Eaters to start filling up the first generation ranks. I personally would like a Rosier Sr, as he is Regulus's Death Eater mentor, but we would love to have any of them. We need an element of maturity to balance out the youthfulness. Though we wouldn't object to younger Death Eaters such as the Carrows or Emmeline Vance's Death Eater brother Patrick Vance, either.
We could also use more girls as a whole, be they 'good guys,' 'bad guys,' or neutral. We'll be having some purist girls available when school lets out, as they have to finish off their last year, but we still have lots of girls open in various categories.
GAME TO JOIN: blurred_lines via blurred_mods. The game is very thorough and well put together with excellent mods, so it won't be dwindling off into nothingness!
