[info]resurrectio_rpg The game hasn't started yet, but it is shaping up to be one amazing game! It is a 7th year AU game. I play Katie Bell, Lavender Brown, and Sienna Capper. I REALLY REALLY REALLY would love for some Alum!!! So far Katie and Oliver are the only alum, and well she could really use some others. Alicia? Angelina? Fred? George? Roger? Cho? Cormac? Charlie? Any of them would be amazing. Lavender would love for more Gryffindors, Vati? Dean? She needs her Gryffindor buddies!! Sienna is a Slytherin, and she'd love more evil Slytherins. Check it out! :)

As for the game. RON is really needed. It's going to be a great game, check it out!

Hello everyone I am Fi and I am a HP RPG alcoholic.

I am a co-mod and player at A New Initium. To me this is a really great game that is in desperate need of new players for I really don’t want this game to die!

The game is a set a year after the war and is AU. With Dark Lord dead the ministry is left open for a new MOM. A make shift Ministry was set up, but no positions are finial. Death Eater have been put on trail, some imprisoned, some dead, others were sent free, and now since Mister Rodolphus Lestrange at the loss of his wife, claimed the imperius curse and is now working to serve the ministry to prove what he can do for society. He has taken an unfamiliar role of ministry spokesperson and has become quite popular with his show of intellect and concern for the well-being of the wizarding world. Things are not always as they seem for he slowly gathering to the DE back together for they can finish what the Dark Lord started.

After the final battle of Hogwarts, many parents complained to the Ministry Department of Education. Their children did not graduate, nor did they complete exams or get a proper education. There was talk of boycotting the school, forcing it to close. The make shift ministry, and new headmistress, Minerva McGonagal, came up with a plan. They would offer an 8th year to those who should have finished to see that they could get a proper year of schooling and complete everything they needed to. They would have extra liberties as they would be of age as well. Most parents responded favorably and have agreed to send their children to finish the year properly.

If interested click to see who we need. )

Looking for Characters to fill a SL [16 Mar 2008|12:17pm]
Name: Dovie
Game: Operation Redo
Fandom: Harry Potter
Format: Mainly threading, but some AIM
Genre: AU (Time Travel)
In Search Of:

Bella would really love to see Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Black (as yet, unmarried). She dotes on Narcissa, and she likes to rake Lucius over the coals, because nobody -- nobody -- will ever be good enough for her live doll baby sister.

I also happen to know that our Neville would adore having his parents, Frank Longbottom and Alice (soon-to-be) Longbottom, around. In fact, we have one (and possibly two) plots that are just waiting on Frank and Alice before we can start them.

We could also use more adults (read: non-students), in general. Hogwarts Staff, Death Eaters, Order of the Phoenix, Aurors, other Ministry employees, professional Quidditch Players, what have you. Just adults. We're far too student-heavy, atm, and we really would like to branch out into the wizarding world more.

Looking for a game! [16 Mar 2008|02:14pm]
Hello all! I'm looking to vicariously live the life of a rockstar, so I'm searching for a place where I can play Merton Graves. While I have no real preference as to the setting of the game or what server it's hosted on, I do ask that some of the other Weird Sisters are there so they can rock out and be hardcore together. In a previous incarnation, he was PBed by Louis Prades, but I've recently fallen for the charms of Noel Fielding, so if he's open, that'd be ace. Thanks! :D

Looking for a game! [16 Mar 2008|04:58pm]
[ mood | chipper ]

Hi guys!

I've been rp-ing for about 5 years now, and though I'm not an english-speaker, I've played a few games in English over the years. I had to give up last year, but I'm now willing to give it another go!

I'm looking for a game to play one of my favourite characters: preferably Theodore Nott, though if I like the game, I'd be ready to play other characters like Charlie Weasley, Colin Creevey, Graham Pritchard, Scorpius Malfoy or a few others if need be.
I have no real limitations over the setting of the game, it can be post DH (epilogue compliant or not) or pre-DH. It can be either on IJ or LJ, too, I don't mind ^^
I do have a few restrictions, however:

- first of all, I am from Europe, so the game would have to have players from the same timezone as me, so that I can participate a little.
- I unfortunately have a very random work pattern, so I could have to work on the evenings with little to no warning, so the game would have to be not overly active, because I don't want to miss out on the fun :/
- Slash friendly game
- I'd prefer thread-based games to AIM based-games
- I'd like some plot, but not something overly complicated: drama and fun mixed in an even way ^^

That's it, I'm aware this could be a little limited, but unfortunately, that's the only way I'll ever be able to play ^^

I'm looking for a game, as wondrously vague as that may be. There isn't a definite character I'm looking to play as he's a currently forming guy who can take on any number of random names generally available to those of us who like to do such things.

I've been RPing for nearly five years and I've been writing fiction for the better part of thirteen years. If the game's active then I'll be active, if it's not I'll at least try to prod the hell out of it but really if I wanted to be the one to prod I'd mod. I'm around often, I'm active, and my characters mostly have a tendency to ramble or over think so I'm never in danger of giving anyone one of those much coveted single line replies (unless by "single line" we're perhaps considering one extraordinarily long run-on sentence, which is unlikely but possible).

What I'm looking for is sort of vague so let's go with what I'm not looking for.
- I don't want any game set in a school. I don't care if it's Hogwarts or one of those AU "What If..." games where everyone's a muggle or a next gen game. I simply don't have the desire to play a kid in school or interact with school aged drama. I'd almost consider it on a professor level but school games rarely have active adults and the character in my head isn't any older than 25 at most. I am otherwise completely flexible on time period.
- I don't want a huge cast list. That may seem strange or lame or what have you, but games with eighty characters make my head spin. I can probably reasonably be alright with forty or fewer characters and I'm totally fine with small games.
- I really am wary of any game where people have more than four characters each and if everyone in the game has four characters or something like that I'm still wary. This comes from experience with cliques and the like.
- I really don't want a game with bad players/writers. This should be obvious but it seems to not be. I don't need eight page replies to a tag, but I appreciate well-formed sentences that are enjoyable to read and thought put into characters. I am really enamoured with any game where people really know their characters and said characters react as the character should, not just how the player thinks they should. If that sentence doesn't make sense to you then your game likely isn't for me.

What I'd really love is a game that is moving. It doesn't have to be insanely plot heavy, it just has to be reasonably active. I really like mods who are approachable, available and will genuinely listen if there is a concern, a problem or just a plot suggestion. I world build a lot, often I do this by accident, and a game that will let me invent is heaven! Players who are actually friendly (i.e. when you make that intro post on the OOC boards they actually reply and when they do it's more than "hi, welcome to the game") are grand. I have no problems with dark games, violence, or squickiness so long as you're cool with the fact that my nebulous guy in my head is chipper and on the silly side often enough. I'd prefer a game where the players are 18 and over just because I don't exactly communicate on the level of a fifteen-year-old kid and that can be frustrating to deal with (read: maturity is so nice).

I'll probably consider a wide variety of stuff as long as it doesn't go against my whole four things I don't want. You can PM me but it'd be more effective to just comment here.
