Hello, all. I'm Jeanne, and I play five characters at ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) darkening [via ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) darkening_mods]. I've been at the game for almost two years, and the game itself has been around for a year longer than that- we're still very active, so it's safe to say we're not going anywhere!
- For Kirley McCormack-Duke [kirleyduke], I'd love to find his sister, Meghan McCormack. Kirley and Meghan have a good relationship, and there's an extensive family backstory. Kirley is recently widowed, and has an infant daughter, so he really misses having his sister around.
- For Hannah Abbott [palindromical], I'd love to find any Hufflepuffs or Cursebreakers- or, really, anyone who she'd be friends with! She's normally a very bright and bubby person, but her current in-game friends are currently mostly on hiatus, and her boyfriend died, so needless to say she's been a bit down lately. ;)
- For Aidan Kiely [racethewind] I'd like to see any quidditch players, especially Irish/Kenmare Kestrels ones. There's a well-set up quidditch plot in the game, with games and updated ratings/statistics every month.
- For Miles Bletchley [notformiles] and Daphne Greengrass [laurelwreath], there's always a need for more evil.

Hi, my name is Cate, and I'm here looking for some friends and family for my character, Padma Patil at the long lasting (on our fifth month!) and active Deathly Hallows compatible game DISENCHANTMENT.
Padma (headgirlpatil @ lj) is currently Head Girl at Hogwarts. She was threatened by the Carrows the first day of school and she has been struggling with being a DA member and her fear of being caught. Padma's friends are much more idealistic than she is, and she honestly is mostly concerned with keeping her sister PARVATI PATIL safe! Padma needs Parvati to talk with about all these issues, and to work off of as Padma makes difficult choices in regards to her membership in the DA, and what she should do (if anything!) against the Carrows. Parvati, your sister needs you!
Padma would also love to see ERNIE MACMILLAN, who would have been Head Boy with her until the Carrows stripped him of his badge and gave it to Draco Malfoy instead. The Hufflepuffs need him, too!
Of course, it would also be wonderful to have LAVENDER BROWN around! Padma considers Lavender to be almost like family, and she and the other Gryffindors need her presence!
The original PANSY PARKINSON had a rivalry with Padma Patil and spread vicious rumors about her at the beginning of the school year. I'd love to have the same sort of dynamic, so if you want to play Pansy with an already very strong Slytherin crowd, and you are willing to challenge a hold, go for it!
Disenchantment is currently in it's fifth month and has been running strongly. This is the perfect time to jump in -- the students have just finished their winter holidays and the situation at Hogwarts is about to get much worse. Students will no longer eat meals in their house tables -- seats will be dictated by blood. DA and Muggle Studies classes are only going to get worse -- but Dumbledore's Army is about to start recruiting!

Hi, my name is Meg and I co-moderate Disenchantment RPG, an active, canon Harry Potter roleplay set during Deathly Hallows. Dis has been following Deathly Hallows since November 1, 2007, and students are getting ready to return to Hogwarts after their Christmas holiday.
As well as modding, I play Anthony Goldstein, prefect and Dumbledore's Army member. Anthony is in desperate need of his fellow Ravenclaws, particularly his best friend, Terry Boot. Terry was played briefly at the beginning of the game, but the only history which we are intent on keeping is his close friendship with Anthony and Michael Corner. As Terry was involved in the DA and resistance movement at Hogwarts, he will have lots of plot and interactions to play out in the coming months.
To round out our cast of Ravenclaws, we also need Lisa Turpin and Su Li. Our current cast of Ravenclaw seventh years is simultaneously lively and dark - all of them are haunted by the loss of their classmate, Kevin Entwhistle, who disappeared in August, and divisions of blood and allegiance plague them.

We've been running for four + months and are already making plans for the Final Battle, but the mods and players are all friendly and helpful and will be more than willing to help new players get caught up.
