ABOUT ME AND THE CHARACTER I PLAY: Chels here again, but this time with Orsino Thruston (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) thedrummer) of the Weird Sisters! He’s a 27-year-old rockstar who has a (slightly ridiculous) fondness for animals and a (less ridiculous) fondness for drumming.
CHARACTER WANTED TO FILL AN SL & WHY: The rest of the WEIRD SISTERS would be awesome. Right now, we have a Kirley Duke, Myron Wagtail, and obviously an Orsino Thruston in play. Merton Graves and Donaghan Tremlett are on hold, and the latter’s application is due today, so that means we only need Heathcote Barbary, Gideon Crumb, and Herman Wintringham to have the complete band, if all goes well! It would be absolutely fantastic to have the entire band dynamic. Right now they are settling into the area and relaxing, but this summer they’re going on tour, whoooo.

About me and the character I play: Hello! I'm Xan, and I'm going to be playing Edward Finch-Fletchley (rathereffable), a seventh-year Slytherin, at TOFFS. Toffs, set to open on March 1st, is a DH-compliant next-generation game that will have a good balance between plot, character development, and social interactions; there is no time-travel involved in any way.
Character wanted to fill an SL & why: SLYTHERINS of all sorts, although the game is limited to sixth- and seventh-years. We definitely need Scorpius Malfoy as a sixth-year Slytherin, and he's the only epilogue or interview character who hasn't been taken yet! More Quidditch players would also be much appreciated (the only positions taken right now are Seeker, one of the Chasers, and the captaincy) as well as sixth-year prefects. For the seventh-years specifically, the girls need Sabrina Slughorn (not necessarily Horace's daughter, obviously) to complete their dorm; the boys could use Henry Tofty and Fife Parker, and a Christopher Yaxley would be especially fantastic and there's already potential there for plot -- he doesn't necessarily have to be the son of the DE!Yaxley in DH, but with JFF!spawn and a Muggle-born student in the same dorm, things could get interesting. For that matter, the game could definitely use more blood purists, as we don't really have any yet and they're vital for the game; they don't necessarily have to be in Slytherin though.

Even though the game isn't set to open until March 1st, the mods are fantastic and have been doing a great job so far in terms of organisation and fostering character development and relationships.

Hi! I'm Emily, and I play Hestia Jones (among others) at betwixt_rpg, an ofttimes insanely active game set at Hogwarts in 1990. We have excellent amounts of thoroughly lovely people (both players and characters), but, alas, we have a distinct shortage of Hufflepuff males. The girls are fine - we've only one spot left in seventh and sixth year each, but only two sixth-year boys, and the seventh-year dorm is completely empty. This is an injustice that should not, nay, cannot be borne.
We would especially love Dunbar Oglethorpe (who is madly in stalkery love with Meaghan McCormack and has a little sister, Deirdre, to alternately harass and be overprotective of), prefect Joseph Mortlake (who has a cousin, Haysel Proudfoot, in play and a younger brother also on the castlist), and the hapless Joey Jenkins, "star" of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. Anyone else would be amazingly fantastic as well!

ABOUT ME AND THE CHARACTER I PLAY: Hey guys! My name's Emily and I play Dorcas Meadowes over at blurred_lines. BL is an AU Postwarts game set in 1979. The AU part has yet to come in, but it will as the plot is headed in the direction of what if Voldemort decided to go after Alice and Frank rather than Lily and James. Basicaly, without the Boy Wonder to thwart his plans, Voldemort is going to have the opportunity to rise to power during the time that Harry would've reduced him to a formless blob of Voldy-goo. For a more eloquent and detailed premise, click here ;D.
CHARACTER WANTED TO FILL AN SL & WHY: For Dorcas, I'd really like to see the role of everyone's favorite zaney publisher, Xenophilius Lovegood filled, because he is her boss! The media is a rather important part of BL's war time premise so Xenophilius will have lots of plot to involve himself in, and we would all really love to have his wonky self over at BL!
We could also really use a James Potter and a Peter Pettigrew to complete the Marauders! We already have a fantastic Sirius and Remus who need these two to complete their quartet, and we also have a wonderful Lily who is in need of her husband. There is so much plot for these two, it isn't even FUNNY, so you should really go apply for them if they strike your fancy.
In general, however, we could really use some Death Eaters because at the moment they are greatly out numbered by the Order. Dorcas doesn't really have a problem with this, but you know in reality we kind of need them.
