Who: Sam, Ruby, OTA What: Still Searching When: Thursday, afternoon Where:Sunnyhell Sunnydale
He'd tried everything. Everything! He even found Lilith, but she laughed him off. He was more use to them here, rather then in Hell, so a trade was out. He'd gotten desperate and even threatened to ruin those plans and kill himself, but she had known it to be a bluff, even if he hadn't. He had scoured the country side. He'd tried finding spells, he'd tried looking for stories of those that had escaped Hell, and still, he had nothing. Nothing, and while he was floundering with no answers, his brother was in Hell, literally. Because of him. He'd never forget that, and whatever it took, he'd get his brother back. He'd prove them wrong. Whatever plans that yellow eyed bastard had, he was not going to be part of it. He had promised Dean, and he was keeping that promise.
He had stopped hunting and knew that would disappoint his brother, and his father, he just didn't care. He had other priorities. So even though he had gotten a lot of little news clippings about things that needed to be investigate, he ignored them. Until yesterday. He noticed a pattern, a central point. Some place in California called Sunnydale. He did some research and found some writings that it was situated on a Hellmouth. He'd never heard of a Hellmouth but if the name was any indication, it was a lead. It was something, and that was more then he'd had last week. So he threw everything in the car and he drove, all night, all morning.
Imagine his surprise to find some sleepy, boring, way too normal looking small town. He knew better, he knew that looks, were very much deceiving. So he drove around, got his bearings then found a cheap motel to check into. Tossing his bag on the bed he pulled out a phone book to find a map and some information on the city. Oddly enough, there was a magic shop. That was his first clue. This was the place, he'd find something, some way, to bring Dean back. For the first time in a long time, there was hope.
