"Do you really think Pansy would go for that? I mean, she's seen some of the things I do and I think I remember her complimenting on things when I've worn them before, but that's all I really do it for, for myself. I even bought a book to help me with my transfiguration. I was never bad at it back at school but I've gotten very good a creating very little pieces to work with now." Lavender would have shown him but didn't know whether it would be appropriate and so left her wand where it was, tucked into a hidden pocket in her dress.
Lavender watched as Rhad signaled for a waiter, confused for a moment as to why. She knew some places didn't have menu's, that you ate from a set menu and she wondered for a moment as if he was letting somebody know that they were ready. But then he apologised and Lavender felt her cheeks flush with colour.
"I'm sorry, I can drink the red, though I do prefer white. I don't want to cause a fuss though." She said, offering the waiter an apologetic smile as he nodded at Rhad and left again.
