Re: Michael | Parvati | Theo
The way these two were looking at each other, Parvati wondered why Michael had bothered suggesting she and Theo get a room. After all, he'd already turned her down, really, so she couldn't claim to be responsible for any chemistry that might be cropping up. They hardly seemed to need her, and she wondered if perhaps she should make an excuse, opt out of this conversation, and see if Michael could get the information from Theo that she'd been unable to. After all, he knew what she was looking for, and Theo seemed to be responding better to him than he had to her. She took the last mouthful of the bottle of beer Michael had brought her as she watched them have their little moment.
Then they both turned those bright, sharp-edged grins on her, and she realized she wasn't forgotten. She felt her stomach flip a little at the attention, and wondered if perhaps it wasn't because Michael was a man, but because he was bolder than she was. Theo had said he liked bold. She swallowed the lingering beer in her mouth and looked between them.
She found herself returning the grin, and even rolling her eyes a little. "One of you is looking at me like you expect me to be a buzzkill-" she glanced at Michael at that. "And the other is looking at me like..." she paused. Like what? What was Theo's expression saying just now? "Like we have a secret."
And they did, she supposed.
Her smile warmed a bit as she reached out for the beer Michael had brought for Theo, since he wasn't going to drink it, and added, "I'm not a buzzkill. If you want to talk about sex, by all means. But you should know that Theo already turned me down. I guess I'm not enticing enough. At least not on my own..."
Her expression turned teasing as she said that, and she took a sip of her new beer. At least that would give Michael an opportunity to convince Theo.
