Who: Lavender Brown and Anthony Goldstein. What: A visit Where: Lavender’s apartment When: Saturday Afternoon
Anthony hadn’t seen Lavender in a handful of days, but that was mostly of his own fault. He had been so certain that his career was going to soar after his role in Verity’s play, but it hadn’t. The hardest part was that he wasn’t sure why. All the reviews had been wonderful, and he’d been lauded as a great actor, and yet, here he was unable to land a role.
It was frustrating, but he considered himself lucky that he didn’t quit his job at the Ice cream shop when he’d gotten his role. He’d considered it, and well, if he had, it would have meant that he wouldn’t be able to pay his rent, which to be honest he was just barely getting done. Still, he had a few knuts around, enough to buy some nice flowers for Lavender, and possibly take her out to grab a bite to eat if she were hungry.
He knocked on her door, grinning. He’d gotten quite lucky with Lavender’s affections. He wasn’t sure how or why, but she liked him, and he was more than happy to spend all the time in the world with her. When the door opened, he held out the flowers dramatically and laughed, “Hello, beautiful.”
