Ceremony
It was finally time. She'd been in her old bedroom all day, getting ready, and it was finally time for the ceremony. Ginny had seen all the bustle of preparation going on outside, but nothing prepared her for what she saw when she and Arthur stepped into the foyer of the tent. It was glorious. Exactly as they'd planned. She couldn't have imagined it any better.
"It's almost time," her father said, giving her arm a pat. "Are you ready?"
Ginny watched Max at the opening to the main area, giving the cues to the wedding party as the music began to play. She was dying to see Harry, but he was at the end of a very long aisle. So she turned her gaze to her father and smiled. "I am so ready, Daddy," she said.
"Good," Arthur smiled in return. His attention was turned to the side when Max laid a hand on his arm, motioning for them to step to the opening. The bridal party music had ended and it was silent now. Their cue.
Stepping into the opening to the main section of the tent, the music started up again. All the guests rose and turned to look at the bride walking down the aisle. She only vaguely registered faces staring at her. All Ginny could focus on was hte man waiting for her at the end of the aisle.
