Reception - Lavender & Open
Lavender was feeling lighthearted. Sure, there had been a short period shortly after dinner where she'd gone into the toilets to cry, mostly over how lovely everything was, but also because after having missed the last two weddings she'd been invited to because of not wanting to upset anybody by bring her boyfriend who everybody had seemed to hate, she was once again alone and no closer to getting a happily ever after of her own.
Not that she was jealous, no. Lavender had just felt... lonely. She blamed it mostly on the wine. She'd had one glass shortly after arriving and after two more and something sparking to toast with and the combination of all four had left her feeling suddenly rather tipsy. Now though, after taking the time to sort herself out and a minute to make sure that her dress wasn't tucked into her knickers or something else equally embarassing, she was ready to get back out and into the party.
She didn't know how long she'd been gone, but making her way back into the tent and Lavender couldn't help but smile. The decorations earlier in the day had been stunning but this... the difference a change of lighting could make! Lavender didn't know when it would be, but she wanted people to feel the way she did right then as they walked into her wedding reception.
