Who: Cormac and Penny
When: Monday afternoon
Where: Penny's Flat
What: Apologizing
Rating: Low
Things had gotten fucked up pretty quickly. What started as fun and rolled into feelings faster than Cormac was prepared for. And then those feelings blew up in his face. He wasn't stupid. Cormac knew he was out of Penny's league. He was too young for her too, really. And he wasn't someone any witch would want seriously. But for a brief second he'd let himself think he was. Maybe that is why he was so angry. Penny had always been honest with him, but he'd wanted more than she wanted.
So, it was time to apologize. He was a horrific ass to her and she didn't deserve it. Before he'd fouled it all up, Cormac counted Penny as a friend. Not only had her lost a lover, but he'd lost a friend. He didn't have many of those to start with and it was probably best if he didn't piss off the few he had.
Still a bit thin and shaky, Cormac had Bridget help him to Penny's door before he sent her away. With a few candy bars and a pint of ice cream in a bag, Cormac lifted his free had and knocked.
"Pen? It's me. Cormac. Could I come in?"
