Who: Melissa Rookwood and Michael Corner What: Cats and tea Where: Michael's flat When: Tuesday afternoon Rating: Low
Melissa managed to finish all her translations for the day a lot earlier than she anticipated, and after getting everything loaded up for mailing, she clocked out for the rest of the day with the blessing of her boss. She was a good and efficient worker, most of the time they didn't care what hours she was or wasn't there, as long as everything got done, and it got done well. So far, she had yet to let anyone down. Not that she was planning on it or anything, that was just the fact of the matter.
So, walking through the streets of Diagon, she stopped at a very well known tea shop before running to the pet store, and idea forming in her mind as she made her way back home once she had gathered the few small gifts she intended. Instead of going to her flat though, she made a beeline Michael's place, wondering if it was too forward of her. So, she stood outside his door for almost ten minutes, second guessing herself, turning around, huffing, moving back towards the door, hovering to knock, and then starting the process over until she finally managed to make her fist collide gently with the wood.
He wouldn't mind, right? Maybe he wasn't even home... if not she could leave what she'd gotten! It wasn't that big of a deal, her mind was so loud she barely even realized when the door opened.
