Who: Michael Corner and Anthony Goldstein
What: Hanging out and eating dinner
Where: Mike’s flat
When: Tuesday night
Despite the fact that Michael lived in the same building as him, he found himself missing his best mate, Anthony had been neglectful of his best friend. He’d gone from living in a dorm with him for seven years, to seeing him regularly, to being terribly caught up in his own life. It was awful. Anthony had been caught up in the radio show, and working at the ice cream shop, and then the disappointment of being let go and now the rehearsals for the play. But, he was determined to pay closer attention to his friends, especially with all the strange things that seemed to be happening.
It was a quick walk from the theater back to the building, and on the way, he stopped in at a shop and got a nice wine. Anthony wasn’t much of a drinker, especially not wine, but that was the appropriate thing to bring to dinner wasn’t it? Anthony hated to admit it, but buying it already made him feel more adult.
Moments later, he was arriving in front of Michael’s door. He grinned, bounced on his heels a bit and knocked politely on the door, already holding out the bottle of wine and waiting for his friend to answer.
