February 7th: The Ministry officials are still around. Professor's are clearly on edge and all lessons are being conducted in a very serious manner. Ministry official's are seen asking students a few questions about their stay at Hogwarts, specifically if they feel comfortable and safe in "this kind of environment" and if there any changes since the Muggleborn's have had to wear their pins. Mostly Pureblood's are asked about this. The official's keeping watch of the remedial classes for the Muggleborn's take the time to make comments in those classes about what the Muggleborn's are learning.
RUMOUR ALERT! Ivanka Krum and Cristobal Warbeck spotted together in France! The two are not fighting, but seen to be flirting!
February 8th: A second year, Gryffindor, Muggleborn girl by the name of Gianna Sprouse is pulled from the common room this afternoon during a break from classes. After the Ministry official's watched several of her classes the day before, they have apparently expressed concern about Gianna's work. She is not seen again until well after supper, where she is seen gathering her things and looking very upset. It is found out that Gianna is being questioned whether or not she is a Squib due to her very dismal grades and poor spellwork. They plan on sending her home for the rest of the week while they determine if she really is one. Headmistress McGonagall is seen protesting this firmly in very plain sight -- "How can a MUGGLEBORN be a Squib?" is her argument. She demands that Gianna stay and eventually wins the argument.
February 9th: The Ardent Crusade starts a petition to close down Hogwarts. Their argument is that the school is clearly teaching their students to rebel against the Ministry and Minerva McGonagall is unfit to run a school. Ministry Employee's are hounded all day to sign the petition.
February 10th: In retaliation, the Order starts to outwardly protest the petition. They go out and try to rally support for Hogwarts and against the Ministry, though they are very quiet and subtle in their efforts, speaking to friends and known Hogwarts supporters first.
February 11th: At supper today, all students are given a form to fill out. This form must be filled out before they leave the Great Hall. The form is essentially a survey asking for the student's name, age, date of birth, blood, parents, courses taken at Hogwarts, and their opinions on certain Professor's and courses at Hogwarts. At the bottom is a box asking for a percent that the student would rate their time at Hogwarts. No one is allowed to leave until the form is filled out.
February 12th: The Ministry official's leave Hogwarts today and no one is sure what is to come next. The overall atmosphere at Hogwarts is gloomy.
February 13th: Lucretia Rowle holds a public conference in the atrium of the Ministry, which allows for Order members to debate the petition to close Hogwarts. At first, it appears the Rowle has the majority of the support, but by the end the Order clearly is the winner and Rowle agrees to shut down the petition.
