Namine wasn't sure what to think, still finding it hard right now to figure out her new place in this world. This new family that she had, this new position that she had, it was all a bit overwhelming for someone who felt so simple.
"From our parents?" she repeated, sitting down. She looked over at Riku who was, not surprisingly, cuddled up close to the Prince, his pillar of support and guide through all of this. "Oh, no, you didn't interrupt anything," she backtracked a bit. "I was just...doing needlework." A MASSIVE waste of her time, if she was supposed to be working anyway. But she guessed ladies had to do something if they weren't working. "I'm not very good at it anyway." The very delicate parts could get frustrating.
The Prince was watching her carefully, and gave Riku a prod. "I know it seems sudden after waiting so long, but we got Trabian mail today and it included a letter from your parents."
"Oh," she replied, fingers playing with her hair that was dangling over her shoulder. She had nearly forgotten about it truth be told, since she wasn't expecting to hear anything from any parents, certainly not of hers. "Well...if you'll read it to me, I'll listen." She didn't know how to feel about it or what it really meant, but she'd listen.
