It was weird. Really kind of weird. Sora though, he had to cultivate patience. Their relationship was about taking care of each other, not about Riku taking care of Sora and then Sora just kind of protecting Riku. He needed to have the patience with his beloved that Riku had for him, and would need to have for him forever, even if he didn't understand.
"I really would like to watch!" he said, trying not to sound too eager. "But I do not want to impose." Having the Prince show up at the pre-competition...well he was used to his presence not being wanted just kind of tolerated, and he didn't want that for this tournament.
He looked down at Riku when he made the noise. "You can compete if you want to, Riku. You can probably shoot better than me, and you can CERTAINLY shoot better than Roxas." It was up to him.
The Prince gave a small sigh. "I want to try for the sword but I worry it would be discouraging to others." They would think that they'd have to let him win. But also...he would win. Just saying. Unless Master Zexion or his Father were participating. Or Conrad.
