Sora would be happy to listen to anything that Riku needed to talk about. If he needed to yell or cry or just be held for a while they could do that. Sora had plenty more stories of his childhood to tell, and some of them were nice, and many of them were not. But they had their whole lives to confide in each other about it.
"And sugar," Sora promised, pressing a kiss to his hair. Regrettably, he had to move if he wanted to order tea, so he did so carefully and got up off the couch to go to the door. He opened the door and called to a nearby servant (this was him, people always knew where he was and there was always a servant or two lurking). He ordered them a tray of herbal tea with sugar and a small bit of cookies just in case. He also ordered his violin, just in case.
Then he went to check the fire, it was nice and warm, and came to sit back down with Riku. "Corin, do you know if any of your men will shoot in the fall tournament?" It would be held right before the Trabians were to head home. The Prince was trying to make a bit of conversation to draw the attention off Riku if he could.
