Namine had to remind herself that Riku had gone through this. Not that she would be elevated to near the status that Riku would eventually rise to, but she was scared of being anything more than a servant. She knew how to be a servant. Servants looked out for each other. Noble ladies...did not. (Thankfully, Kairi would look out for her! And she might find herself overwhelmed with all the noble ladies trying to be HER friend because she was clearly friends with the Princess.)
Aerith tried to keep herself from brimming with tears. She was so happy to be back with her family, with the war over, and back in her home in Hollow Bastion for a little while. "How could I forget?" she replied quietly. Dancing with her brother during festivals and birthday parties, dancing with all the other young girls and boys, including Cloud before and during their courtship.
Sora grabbed his sister for the group-dance song, and since Roxas couldn't dance with Hayner or his mother, he just grabbed another noble-lady whom he knew.
Watching the royals dance was rather beautiful. This was the family that had carried them through the war. Their strong King and his beautiful Queen, the brave and courageous Prince and Princess (and good to see the Prince alive) and the Strife family at their side, no longer hiding in Twilight Town.
It had been enough time for everyone to eat and begin to socialize again, and dancing would open up as soon as the royal family left the floor. Conrad was wearing the finest military uniform he possessed and managed to slip away to find a certain someone hopefully not surrounded by too many of her friends. He was carrying a book, inside which he was pressed a beautiful flower, and tried to carry it behind his back. He politely cleared his throat when he found her. "Excuse me, Miss Belle?"
