Riku was blissfully unaware of the issue of Abe's older brother, and was simply glad that he had survived the battles. The boy had been given to them, to Sora's care, because he was the youngest, and should all his family fall, he was all that was left. He had no mother or adult female relatives, and so having his other brother here, Riku supposed, must have been a joyous reunion.
"You look stunning," Riku assured the Prince, pushing his hair back from his forehead. What a handsome Prince.
"Your Majesty, Sir," Abe said excitedly as he approached the two of them with his brother. He'd gotten a little distracted, and hoped that the Prince wouldn't think too poorly of him for not coming around sooner. "May I present my brother, Simon Michelle Mathews."
Riku thought that Abe's brother looked like a kind sort of boy. A little too old for his age, but who wasn't these days. He had Abe's dark hair, and dark brown eyes. He was taller than Sora, but not quite as tall as Riku, and of a more stick build. If Riku had to guess, he was more suited for studying than fighting. But most didn't have the choice.
"Your Majesty," Simon bowed deeply, "I must thank you for taking care of my little brother."
Corin was sampling the various Balamb cuisine (this he liked, THIS he did not. This was bland. This was bland. This was familiar, weirdly so, did they make this because of Riku?) when he heard his name. A young man with a vaguely familiar face was approaching, being tailed by that servant. "Yes?" Corin asked, nodding to his friend who wandered off to eat something else and chat up one of the ladies. "How may I help you?" He remembered the Prince's warning, that people would be interested in him, because of Riku, and was trying not to be TOO on guard to the point of being unfriendly.
