Lord Walt blinked a few times. He did not expect the Prince to use his first name so... immediately.
Richard hadn't intended to stay long, but his friend had come along, and he'd introduced Riku, and then Riku had begun telling them about the Keep, and yes, he was still here, listening to Riku.
Riku laughed at the mention of the book and briefly raised the Prince's hand to his cheek, the one that had been injured in that attack. "If you remember the title, you should ask the Master Teacher if he will find a new copy for you." Master Zexion had powers like that, right? He probably knew very book written.
He smiled at the Prince for a moment, gentle affection in his eyes, and then went back to his story. He'd come so far from that servant who slammed his head into the floor the moment someone other than a servant saw him interacting or touching the Prince. He was more confident, more talkative, and more sure of his place, even amongst people he'd never met before.
"I feel as though, even being at the castle, I missed some very exciting moment of the war," Hamish said, leaning back and putting his hand through his short blond hair.
