Not take Riku from him... but, really, Corin wondered, was his brother ever really his, since he'd found him again. Even on that first meeting, Riku firmly sat beside the Prince, trusting his judgement and taking safe harbor in his presence when he didn't know what to make of Corin. And Riku... there were parts of Riku that Corin knew he hadn't seen... that Riku kept tightly locked away, private and raw and vulnerable. But the Prince... he hard those parts. Riku trusted him with his best and worse. There was no taking to do... Riku was the Prince's.
Slowly, Corin took the Prince's hand and stood. This boy was, in all likelihood and reality, his little brother's future husband (if all went according to their plans). He was going to have to get used to the idea of the Prince being the brightest star in Riku's life, and his heart. "Thank you, Your Majesty. You are most gracious. I will be careful."
