"Oh Riku, you're a sweetheart," Namine teased. Now that the Princess was back, she would be taking control of many of those duties.
Namine looked around. There were certainly a lot of people! "He went back to his flight, so he must be with the other Trabian archers." That was her best guess. "I rode with him most of the way." Which made her really very lucky over the other servants. She took hold of her brother's hand and pulled him along. "We just need to find a Trabian boy!" And she'd be able to find their brother in no time. She had been finding it really very easy to get what she needed from the younger Trabian soldiers. They were so eager to help a pretty Trabian girl!!
Conrad wanted to hold his hands behind his back to look calm and composed too, but that didn't work when she took his hand. He'd rather not talk to her in front of her lady friends but that was alright. He would even look at them and acknowledge them with a nod. They were just ladies. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "Thank you, for your inspiration," he replied. "Representing our people's heart, you gave us soldiers something to protect." Okay, he was kind of talking for the rest of the ladies too, it wasn't like he could say something so personal here in public!
But..."You must be busy settling down," they had a lot to unpack and talk about and whatever ladies did. "but if you are at the festivities tonight I hope I will see you." As in could he please see her because he was literally going to have nothing to do.
They weren't THAT young! At least none were as young as Abe. And all at least in their teens. The boys did their best to speak their thanks clearly and bow properly, then looked at the Prince for what to do. "Thank you Father!" He motioned for them to come with him and once they were gathered around, gave them a big smile. "Well done. See, he is not too scary." He laughed and pat Andrew on the back hard. "Alright lads. The servants will show you to your rooms. Please relax for tonight, and all day tomorrow. I am sure that you have family you wish to see. Let me know if you need to leave the city." It was fine with him he just wanted to know about it, and he'd help with a carriage or horses or funds if they needed.
Okay now what? Ah, he did want to see Riku! But he guessed he'd leave him be with his family. He dismissed his boys and went back to his Father's side.
