"Oh there isn't a lot to tell, I want to hear about what you have been doing instead!" And their brother would be on the interrogation route, she was sure. It was adorable how he was so protective of them, but they had to remember that they hardly knew each other. Corin didn't know anything about either of them or their lives, and as far as Namine knew, neither intended to return to Trabia with him. It was delicate, but Namine wanted to hold onto it while it lasted.
Conrad thanked the King, and thanked General Rotharr with promise to see him later, and came back to his waiting men. It was a small regiment now, as the men from Balamb returned to report to the Captain of the Royal Guard. He was left with those from Caloria only. "Tonight, be merry and celebrate. The servants here will show you to our quarters. Tomorrow the day is yours, we will reconvene the following morning." He should know by then when they would be heading out, and could at least give them an update. They were anxious to get home to Caloria but, they would welcome the rest. There was sure to be good food and drinks in the great hall tonight, and good taverns and whores in town. He made his way through the crowd hoping all the ladies hadn't dispersed entirely, as some of them were lining up to greet the Queen as the men were with the King and Prince. He stopped and cleared his throat a little. "Ah, Lady Belle. I apologize for the interruption."
The Prince stood very patiently, greeting the returned men, but he spotted all his boys standing together, looking nervous. He smiled at them and motioned for them to come to his side, waiting patiently for his Father to be finished talking to who he was talking to. "Father, this is, well these are my," crap, he was nervous too! He couldn't look dumb in front of all these boys! But this was important to him!
Sora took a deep breath and introduced them all, just four of them. "Lord Mathews I dismissed." he added. That was the most important one but he had needed to find his brother and take a break.
