Namine gasped and held on tight to her brother, trying not to look at the other men who smiled at how gentle and protective that Corin was with his little sister. "Will you take me? It would take me much longer to walk." She could hop off now and try to walk to the front of the column, but it might take as long to get there as it would to get home, they weren't far now. Namine was curious herself, what the King and Queen had decided for Riku once the Prince returned. Then, what of her? Would she be going back to Trabia with Corin? She admitted that it was likely better than the life of a servant, but Balamb was her home. She didn't know what was to become of her.
"Well done, Abe," Conrad smiled at the little boy. "Have you been to Hollow Bastion before?" Hopefully the little squire was intending to stay and not return to Ferndale. His Father probably had no idea the position his youngest son had been elevated to.
Aerith made a face and looked at her Nephew's back, a little worried. "Your Father said it was going well, but I may have to talk with my brother." Not that she had much say in anything, and she knew that Squall thought she had made the wrong choice. She just wished she could help. "I want you two to look out for him. He is a smart boy but he does not quite know what he is getting himself into, and Sora is..." Not the most helpful? Head in the clouds? Also has no idea what he's doing and no tact?
"I know, Mother. We will keep an eye on him," Roxas promised. Geeze. Well, he appreciated being needed, and not actually having to do all the work.
