Riku laughed and lay his head for a brief moment against the Prince's. "You still need a babysitter, love. We've just got nicer titles for me than that." Tease, tease! He only teased because Sora started it, and it was good to be able to laugh at themselves.
"We have learned to breath air above the water," Riku remarked as they left the shelter of the garden, "And learned to swim with wings." Meaning... they'd done the impossible. They'd evolved from the inside out, to become who they were meant to be, as a couple and as individuals.
"They will love you," Riku promised, and stopped the Prince at the stairs so that he could pick him up. Sora still didn't do well going up the stairs, and Riku loved to be close to him. "We should bring them something. Perhaps the kitchen can be of help." A fancy wine, or a fine cheese, or a roast pig. Something to extend their thanks for being invited.
