Riku nodded along with the Prince's plan; it sounded fine to him. There was no reason to overdo anything tonight. "This will not be the last time we are invited anywhere," Riku promised. So... so Sora didn't have to worry. These people wanted to get to know him; they wanted to give him the opportunity.
"Everything," Riku repeated, wrapping his arm around the Prince's waist. He looked around for a moment, taking in the beauty of the garden, the fountain, and Sora within it. "I spoke very little to your Uncle," Riku remembered that feeling odd, since he thought that the man would be the only one who bothered with him at all, appearing so suddenly. "I met two young men and their father, Lord Blakely, they are the ones interested particularly in your court. One fought here, the younger one did not." Though he was older than Abe and really could have.
"They know young Lord Ryder, and are, well, aware of our relationship. It seems Ryder has been writing home about me, and you."
