True....but Sora couldn't deny that he wouldn't mind she do that right before he has to speak to his Father.
The Prince didn't say much through their main course, just kind of thought about what he'd do when his sister came back. He didn't know if the choices he'd made at the keep were all the right ones, but he'd made them and they were done. He had to believe in Riku. Who...looked like he was chatting away down there. Sora wanted to be down there with him, but this was Riku's job. If he did well, Sora would not be surprised to find himself with plans for seeing some of those noble men he was meeting later.
"It would be good of him to walk around the town," Lord Colville suggested. "Once he is able." The Prince should see and assess the damage for himself. It was always better to put in an appearance for these kinds of things, and some people still had their lingering doubts about his abilities. After all, they had not been at the keep. That was what the ladies were for, to report back.
There was a kind of silence at the table, and the two best friends exchanged looks. After a moment, Lord Moore spoke up. "Tonight some of us are getting together for drinks and reading," Poetry, prose, some of them played instruments or could sing. Just men spending time together and talking, really. "If you would like to come, Sir le Juillet. We would love if his Majesty could attend, if he is feeling well." But it was okay if he didn't want to.
No one had ever invited the Prince to something like this, where he had actually showed up. And he hadn't received an invitation like it in the last three or so years at all.
