The Prince was finally getting a little more comfortable back at home. The more time he was able to spend casually with Riku, the more he felt at ease. He hadn't realized how much less stressful it was to not have to worry about how Riku was getting along, what he was wearing, where he could and couldn't go, because he just was there at his side. He was walking around more, being up more, going outside his room more. He still couldn't climb all the stairs by himself, though.
Sora was super nervous, mostly because he hadn't asked anyone's permission to bring Riku to lunch in the hall. Of course, he was going to act like he didn't need to. After all, this was very normal at the keep. It would be normal for Riku to sit next to him. He probably should have waited until all the ladies were back in just twp or three days, that would have eased this a lot. Ah well.
"Riku, it is practically plain compared to what some of the Lords may be wearing," he assured his love, in the process of using a thin wire to tie two blue roses into Riku's hair that was partially tied back, half bloomed. He simply dressed him in what he would wear around the keep. He wanted to show his parents that Riku was able to become well integrated. "You are beautiful."
The Prince stepped back for a moment to look, and then adjusted the flowers some more. They looked so good on Riku! "Yes, he will. I would be glad if you sat with him. But Riku, I want you to do something." He didn't know if Riku was up to it.
