Honestly, Leon didn't recognize the young man who was with his son's traveling party as Riku. His mental image of Riku was a servant, like the one he'd pulled away from his son when he cause them kissing in the stables.
"There's hot soup," Tifa said, stroking her son's hair while they walked. "And new bread, butter, grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, and a peach pie for dessert." They'd been keeping them for Sora's return.
Riku watched as the doors closed behind the Prince and his parents. Was... was he supposed to go to the Prince's room? Was he supposed go to the servant's quarters. What was he supposed to do?
Should he go find Sid? His boss. Former boss? What WAS he now?
Oh, there was Roxas's father. "Yes, Sir.My Lord." Riku pulled the ribbon out of his hair nervously, not sure if he should be wearing it. Or wearing anything he was dressed in right now. "Thank you very kindly. It is good to be back." Even though... even though he kind of wished that he could be back at the keep now. Inspite of the war, he'd been really happy there. With Sora, with his family. He knew his place there. And now he was set adrift again.
"You must want news of your family." His wife and son.
