"I don't think he'll appreciate it as much coming from me," Riku laughed, and waved them on. He was glad that he'd gone to find them. They made him feel better like he hadn't expected to. But they were so young and hopeful still, and the frighting state of their Sora hadn't been a constant reminder for the past day. They gave him strength and optimist again, which was just the recharge he needed.
Locating Corin, inspite of him being in a MUCH larger area, was a lot easier than tracking down the Princess and his sister. There was a beauty to the efficiency in the Trabian army, one that Riku thought Sora should encourage his Father the King to adopt.
And Corin was so excited to see Riku, though instantly worried after a moment and asked about the Prince.
"He's healing," Riku said simply, and Corin let the matter drop. If Riku wanted to talk about it, he would. Frankly, Riku felt like he'd talked about it enough. He wanted to move away from the obvious, that the young man he loved was hurt, and focus on the future: namely, getting that same young man well.
"Namine sends her love," Riku reported to his brother, walking with him around the camp. Riku knew quite a few of the faces here now, and they waved to him as he walked past.
