"Yes, Dear," Riku whispered, tears trailing down his cheeks, seeing the Prince's eyes open. "That's right. That's good." He wasn't going to let himself think fearful things. Sora had come back to him. He'd come back to their room. He was alive. And between all of them, working so hard, together, he'd stay hat way.
"He needs stitches," Doctor Watson announced, making Riku wince and flinch in memory. "Head, and side." Nothing else, even though scraped and bruised, required that kind of mending. "Sterile needle and thread."
"Its going to be okay, Sora," Riku whispered gently. "Its going to hurt a little, but its going to be okay. I'm going to be right here beside you the whole time."
Corin held onto his sister and looked at Lord Ryder suspiciously. Even though his sister said that this young man was Riku's squire, he was still a young man hanging around his sister. "The pleasure is all mine, Lord Ryder," Corin still said respectfully. "I am Corin le Juillet, Namine and Riku's older brother. Thank you for looking after my little sister, Sir."
He might have said more to Lord Ryder, but Namine distracted him. "The Prince is injured?" he asked, shocked. He didn't believe it could happen. "How is Riku?" He must be devastated.
