Kairi shook her head, holding her hands close to her chest. "Namine and Lord Ryder left to aid the wounded soldiers."
Aerith frowned. "We assumed Sora would be here." Wouldn't he have wanted to meet up with Riku and his family right away? "We know nothing of what happened, other than our victory and safety." They really knew less than Riku did.
Conrad ran over after ordering a stretcher, two poles and a piece of canvas. He couldn't see much but that the Prince was just covered in blood. "Be careful with his leg, it looks in bad shape," he warned. Aggravating his wounds would just cause him more pain. He mumbled under his breath about how had this happened and he should have been there.
The Prince didn't really respond other than to the pain caused by moving him about.
General Weller couldn't do much else than what was already being done for the Prince. Where was that stretcher? He spotted blonde hair and hurried over to Namine who was being tailed by a young Lord. Ryder, was it? "Miss le Juillet!" he called, jogging over. "The Prince is badly wounded. We need to prepare his bed to receive him at once. Protect the mattress with layers of sackcloth, there is going to be a lot of blood. And find Doctor Watson." He had attended the Prince before."
Namine, terrified, spotted the Prince's body, and Lord Strife and Hayner, and took off running. She was in tears long before she arrived at the Prince's room, arms full of bedding.
