Barty put his hand on Riku's shoulder. They were all concerned about the Prince. Barty was worried over his fellow guards, too.
The Prince, unfortunately, didn't notice the flags. There were too many men. There were too many. The Galbadians were overwhelming them. Or...it was less they were being overwhelmed, and more that it just seemed they were rushing. Panicking? Running somehow.
In that chaos, everyone was separated, scattered, Sora couldn't find Philip, or Frank, he didn't see any of his court, and though he fought and fought, he was swarmed by men both running and still trying to fight. The fighting ones were the ones that wounded him, and the rest were what trampled him. A dead Galbadian fell atop him, covering him, and the Prince blacked out.
"I want to fight my way to the keep," Roxas replied. Where his cousins were, where his Mother was. The blonde drew his sword. "Galbadians should know better by now than to trifle with my family."
Conrad called for their men to fall back and form up a line. Balambish soldiers were boxing in the Galbadians. It was not going to be long before they surrendered.
