Riku would be honest with himself; he was kind of embarrassed about bringing it up, but they needed to bring it up now and start thinking about now, because the night before the battle was NOT the time to turn to the Prince, sharing his fear and desperation, and ask him then to lay with him. If the Prince said no that night, it would remain awkward for them their last night before the battle. If he said yes, there would be no time to mentally prepare themselves.
"Okay," Riku murmured back, his cheeks very red too. But he was glad they'd had this little conversation. And that the Prince was considering it. It would be nice to do it the Prince's way, the way his family wanted, waiting until they were married and had absolutely nothing else on their minds. But was the practical right now? They'd still have that night, it just wouldn't be as confused.
"I don't want to get up now," Riku confessed with a small grin, tightening his hold on the Prince. "I want to stay here forever."
