If Lord Ryder did become part of Riku's yet nonexistent court, Riku could only imagine the kind of information he'd have to be told. It was different for the Prince's court... they knew Riku was important, but they didn't have to be told exactly, because they did not report directly TO Riku. This boy would. He'd quickly learn exactly what kind of access that Riku had to the royal family, and his rapport with them.
