"I certainly will," he replied. It didn't occur to him to tell Riku that 300 gold pieces was not 300 gold pieces in Trabian currency.
Sora looked over at the letter than had been tossed on his bed. "The Galbadian troops have yet to reach the castle, which is good. Hollow Bastion may be spared yet. He doesn't include too many details about our own movements through letters, in the event they are intercepted." It was hard, not knowing EXACTLY what was going on. "Apparently, Roxas is in the field with my Uncle." Which...frankly scared him. Roxas had gone out to the actual battle, out from the safety of Hollow Bastion. "I do not know if he has informed my aunt yet."
"Mother misses us," he added. He missed her too.
"Oh..." this last thing was kind of odd. "He asked if you attended my receiving hours regularly. If you did not, then you should be, although you should not speak." If his son HAD to marry a foreign commoner, then he had BETTER get started on learning his duties of state. Sora thought it was weird, but at the same time he supposed it made sense. Riku ought to see what was going on with the people.
