"I suppose your logic is sound," the Princess agreed. Sora was growing up rather rapidly, but that was good. It gave her time to stop growing a little and enjoy her own youth before it was gone. She was sure their cousin was grateful as well.
"Thank you," Namine said with a smile, adjusting the flowers and leaning over to kiss her brother's cheek.
The Princess nodded knowingly. "Oh, he has been planning," she informed Riku. He had planned for a little party to go out and look for a watermelon patch. Should they find it, they were to pluck the melons just a day or two before Riku's birthday, and bring them back to stash in the rocks of the stream to keep ice cold. The cook had discussed recipes with the Prince already.
The Princess looked at Riku briefly. He didn't know? "His birthday is two days from now, on the 11th."
