Riku felt kind of jittery... nervous. But Namine had done this for them, and he could at least be polite. "Did she? I should like to see it at some time," Riku said, picking up his tea cup, just for something to do. "I am glad the two of you get along well." He would hate if his sister and the Prince's sister were in bitter dispute.
"I know you haven't seen much of them," Riku said to Corin, "But Sora, and his sister, are really very kind people, as are their parents." Alright, his father the King was a little frightening, but his mother was lovely.
"I am just concerned," Corin said, "You can't expect me not to be."
Riku shook his head. "I don't know. I have have very few people care what happened to me in my life."
"Our parents always cared," Corin insisted, and reached over to tuck Riku's hair back behind his ear. "They never forgot the two of you."
"I want to believe that," Riku said softly, "But..." He'd forgotten them himself. How could they not forget about him too?
