Riku raised the Prince's hand lightly to his lips and gave him a honest smile. "Yes, Sora." He couldn't ask for more, short of asking the Prince to make the decision himself, and that just didn't make sense. This was his brother, maybe. And he needed to talk to him.
Corin was unable to sit still. He'd been show to the library, further into the living area of the noble Balambites than he ever thought he'd see, and then left to wait. He'd been told, when a tea tray arrived, that the Prince and his companion were on their way.
But it still seemed like ages before they were actually there and announced. Riku's official title was companion then. He'd thought maybe it was just a popular term he was using, but here he was being announced by it. Then he saw the man in question and stopped thinking about his title.
He was tall, but not gangly. And his hair was so short! It was almost distracting. But his hair was a familiar, light color, and his eyes gently set and the color of the sheen on black birds's wings.
Riku just starred back, desperately searching for something he might recognize in this man. They looked similar, Riku knew that. But was that enough?
