The Prince felt deathly nervous about all of this. Especially as the Trabian began to speak. Every time he thought about it, he selfishly wished the situation away. Riku was comfortable without knowing his family. He had Namine, and that was alright with him. He had warmed to the idea of being in Sora's family. In fact, him being of unknown past had been working in their favor. Now with this...everything was a mess.
The Prince didn't say anything for a minute. Cruelly, he almost thought of lying to this man, but he knew he could not do that to Riku. Why did this have to happen? Not to mention this was all really awkward because he looked so much like Riku.
The Prince took a breath and let it out slowly before getting up. He came down a few steps and gestured for the man to follow him. "I am afraid I cannot assure you that at all. Come and sit with me. There is too much to discuss for this setting." There was a furnished area of the room meant for just this purpose of sitting comfortably while more in depth matters were being discussed.
