"Thank you," Sora replied, with a genuine smile, though small. "We are truly honored and grateful for your arrival. I cannot begin to tell you how much this means to our people." They would be so encouraged. Sora wished he could tell them all right now.
Sora entered the throne room with the soldier and headed for his throne to sit in while they waited for the others to arrive. "I am looking forward to meeting and conversing with your General." Another military head in on his and Conrad's meetings would honestly be most welcome for the Prince who was still so young with war matters. "I expect he will provide valuable input to our military meetings, and I await it eagerly." It meant he was going to have to step up his game, though. Sometimes the 'war meetings' ended up as not much more than Sora having a rather personal conversation with Conrad about what was or wasn't going on at the keep right now. Sometimes Conrad knew the Prince was too stressed and they practiced the sword, or read letters, or drank tea in silence. At this point Sora considered taking the military meetings to three times per week and the Conrad-Sora time daily and private.
