The Prince briefly held the stack in front of his face and nodded, mostly to cover the fact that he immediately gaped. 400 men?! He glanced at Conrad. Not that they weren't VERY grateful, but was there even room for 400 more men inside the fortress?
Conrad knew exactly what the Prince was thinking and gave him a reassuring smile.
"That is amazing. We are very grateful," Sora replied, a little bit of his surprise showing. His Father would be so pleased. The people would be so joyful at the news.
Conrad nodded. "This is most fortunate, and welcome. I will read these over and make the appropriate preparations," he said. "Your Majesty, with permission I have much work to do."
The Prince gave him a nod. "You are dismissed. Report back before sundown." He took a bit of a breath and turned his attention back to the Trabian soldier. "Sir Lafet, will you stay or return?" Sora was unsure if he'd just hang out here or ride back to his men.
