Kairi raised her eyebrows. "My parents?" she asked, curiously. It was a strange request, though she was glad to hear Riku interested in the family. "Oh, my Father my always be quite intimidating," she said regretfully. He carried the title of King and he was very regal. "But my Mother is a gentle woman." Riku would warm up to her easily.
"Hmmm. What can I tell you?" She had to think for a moment. "My Father is awkward at times. There was no romantic show for when he proposed to my Mother. He simply asked across the room during tea and it was settled. I am not sure where Sora inherited these romantic ideas from." Certainly not HER Father. Her Mother had told her many stories of their strange courtship.
"My Mother has a favorite scarf that she wears every year on her birthday. It is a particularly ugly thing, but Sora and I made it for her under Master Zexion's direction when Sora was just seven." It was marked with leaves and tied in all kinds of knots before they made the servants dye it red for them.
She wasn't sure if these were the kinds of things Riku wanted to hear, but they were little facts that other people likely would overlook.
