Riku's cheeks flushed lightly as he smiled, pleased. "He is... incredible, and very kind. I could not want for a more attentive lover." The noticed his moods, good and bad, worried about his health and happiness, was easily to convince to laugh with him, to play with him, or just simply send time with him doing nothing important at all.
He shook his head. "I do not want thanks. I selfishly reap most of the benifit of his improved moods. I do it for him, and for myself." Not for Balamb, or his family, though Riku WAS glad that they were able to have a happier, healthier Prince, happier Sora, on their hands. "I have heard a little of Balamb's history, and yours, My Lord," Riku said, trying to comfort Roxas. "Had you been here earlier, there would have been two very lonely little boys instead of one. And your friendship with Hayner might not have grown so strong. The past cannot be changed, so it does not help to worry over it, yes?" he smiled. "He is very happy to have your friendship and your help now, and does not hold you any ill feeling."
