"Thank you, Your Majesty," Lady Timmet replied. It was really a rotten time to be engaged... and there was no promise her fiance would return from the war alive. But love doesn't wait for situations to be ideal.
"Well," her cheeks flushed, "Laurry, Lord Sarmont," her fiance Riku translated, "Were taking a walk about the gardens earlier today."
Riku began to have a sinking feeling of where this was going.
"And, it was a complete accident, and I hope we did not distrupt, but, as it was," okay, now she was just rambling, "We happened to come upon Your Majesty, and..." she turned pinker and couldn't finish, just waved her hand at Riku. "Were you? Really?" She knew what she thought she saw, but they hurried out of there so quickly, maybe they were mistaken.
