"It is... a little much to take in, sometimes," Riku admitted a little hesitantly. "But I have so many kind people around me, that is really isn't so bad. I am sure I have made mistakes, and will continue to make mistakes in the future, but I know you are patient with me, and I am greatful for that." He just wanted to know them well enough that he didn't stand out so badly when he was with everyone else.
Riku wondered, as they stood on the sides, if maybe next year, they would lead the opening dance. Kind of like how they danced in Caloria, granted, it was not the first dance, but the floor was cleared for them. He ever really realized, until the Prince began to actually ACT like a Prince, how public a royal life really was.
"Your Magesty," an Lady approached the Prince and curtseyed before him. "I am afraid I have lost the lot," she explained. "May I be allowed to ask who your companion is tonight?" It was more polite to ask the Prince than Riku directly.
