"I am glad you were able to attend," Sora replied. The servants of the castle generally stayed behind to tend to things while everyone was out at the bonfire. They weren't allowed to participate, and some had lived in Balamb all their lives and never been to the great bonfire.
"I hope to share it with you personally next year," Sora said with a small smile. It should be alright by then, to have Riku right by his side. "We have many traditions here, I hope that it is not too overwhelming for you." Riku had only been in Balamb a mere 5 months, but with no previous knowledge of their customs.
Sora stood at the edge of the dancing area, tapping his feet a little with the music. He wasn't sure if he wanted to dance just yet. There were not very many people returned from the fire and he thought it better to not draw THAT much attention to themselves.
